What are we ?
Windfreaks is all things kite surfing, its
a web site full of information produced by kitesurfers for all kitesurfers.
Kite surfing has grown with over 6000 kitesurfers in the uk today, but the Poole\Bournemouth area does not have its own web site for Kitesurfers.........well it does now.
Windfreaks is independent, we are not linked to any shop, we are not linked to any kite, board or ancillary equipment manufacturer, we are linked only to you the riders and when I say we I mean you and me, no business, no marketing company just me sat behind a PC to promote the local kitesurfer community. Why, because I want to, it is as simple as that.
Many new flyers or visiting flyers ask where can I fly, which site is best in what winds, where can I stay, where can I buy X, Y, Z. On this web site you will find that information. What is more the site will contain as much information about kote surfing in the local area as I can lay my hands on, I want to gather as much information as I can and put it on this web site for you all. What you see now is just the start.
This site will be open minded enough that if you want to post a 
comment about product X then you can post it, we won't stop you because of a relationship with manufacturer of product X. If you want to mention wind surfing or some other form of kiting then we will post it. We want you the the riders to tell us what you want to see on this site, what do you want to read about, send us your pictures, send us your kite, board and other equipment reviews, send us the stories of your roadtrip, if you did it we want to hear about it, this is your notice board for the local kitesurf community for everybody else to read and for everybody to participate.
