Welcome to the new Windfreaks web site. Windfreaks has been up and running for over 2 years now and in that time there has been a steady flow of kite surfer, from newbie to experienced kite surfers browsing this site. There is something for all kite surfers here. Whatever your experience and whatever you think about the site, use the contact us page to let us know what you think.
Despite the updates Windfreaks is still all things kite surfing, its a web site full of information produced for all kitesurfers where ever you fly but also with lots of local information for local or visiting kite surfers. Kite surfing continue to grow in the UK with the Poole\Bournemouth area as popular as ever so check out the onlocation link to view the kite surfing locations in the area.
Each section on this web site is linked to local information, what locations can I fly, what the best winds at each location, where can I stay, where are the local shops, what manufacturer supplies what, it has all been updated. Its not complete list, so if you have some information that you feel would help others then drop me a line and I will get it up on this web site, lets promote the local Kite Surfing scene
We are still open minded, we are not tied to any business or manufacturer, this site is a kite surfers site for the kite surfers. We still want the input from you the the kite surfer to tell us what you think of the site, what you want to see on this site, what do you want to read about, send us your pictures, send us your kite, board and other equipment reviews, send us the stories of your roadtrip, if you did it we want to hear about it, this is your notice board for the local kite surf community for everybody else to read and for everybody to participate
Update
The more eagled eyed (web) surfer may have noticed that we are no longer on our own domain, the simple reason is cost. I fund this and several other web site myself and it was starting to hurt the pocket so this web site (and some other are becoming sub domains to another web site I look after, you still get the same quality web site while I save a few pound.
